Volunteer for International Week!

International Week volunteer team members have an opportunity to gain international-related volunteer experience on campus.

International Week volunteers are important to the success of International Week - from supporting events to promoting activities and contests, to taking photographs and helping celebrate across campus. 

Being an International Week Volunteer will help you:

  • Build your resume with experience via Western International
  • Network with other Western students, staff, and faculty members
  • Develop intercultural and interpersonal communication skills
  • Learn more about international opportunities offered at and through Western University

Applications for the International Week 2023 Volunteer Team are now closed. If you applied, please check your email for next steps. 

Volunteers will assist with events and promotional booths during International Week (November 20-24), as well as the week prior to International Week. Training sessions will be held for all volunteers in advance of their shifts (times and dates to be determined). 

Requirements:

  • Attendance at a 2-hour training session November 7 or 8
  • Completion of Western's mandatory HR training modules
  • Commitment to sign up for a minimum of 2 shifts (3 hours each)
  • Willingness to bring a positive and helpful attitude and work as a team player
