Volunteer Opportunities

Group of Student Volunteers

International Week Volunteers have an opportunity to gain international-related volunteer experience on campus.

For the past seven years, International Week has attracted thousands of students, staff, faculty, and community members wishing to celebrate Western's international community and eager to learn more about our international activities, opportunities and research.

International Week Volunteers have been a crucial component to the success of International Week - from supporting events to promoting activities and contests, to taking photographs and helping celebrate across campus. Not only were they important to the success of International Week, our past volunteers have found the experience to be personally rewarding academically, professionally, and socially.

Being an International Week Volunteer will help you:

  • Build your resume with experience via Western International
  • Network with other Western students, staff, and faculty members
  • Develop intercultural and interpersonal communication skills
  • Learn more about international opportunities offered at and through Western University

Applications for promotional volunteers for 2021 are now closed. Promotional volunteers will assist with distributing information about International Week prior to the week in addition to during the week of November 15-19.
